Ischia and Procida are two islands that you can visit on foot or by public transport to reach all locations more quickly.
Inter-urban transport

Ischia and Procida have a public bus service connecting the various locations on the island.
On Ischia, the main lines are the CS (Circolare Sinistra) and the CD (Circolare Destra) of the Eav Bus, which go around the island in both directions. The bus terminal is located in Ischia Porto and runs quite frequently.
On Procida, the Eav Bus takes care of transfers on the island, and is stationed in Piazza Marina Grande. Line L1 and L2 connect all areas of the island.
There are taxis available on both islands, but the cost is higher than public transport.
It is possible to rent cars and motorbikes on Ischia and Procida, but you need to be prepared to drive on narrow and hilly roads. It is also possible to rent scooters or bicycles, which are a good option for getting around independently.
