Intercity transport
POMPEII RUINS -STATION-CENTRE
You only have to walk a few metres from the Circumvesuviana station to reach the ruins of Pompeii and the Villa dei Misteri. The ruins and the nearby Villa dei Misteri are only a few minutes’ walk from the Circumvesuviana station.
To reach the shrine directly from the station you can walk 2 km or take a taxi. The Shrine of the Rosary, however, is very close to the exit of the ruins of Pompeii (Piazza Immacolata entrance)
POMPEII – VESUVIUS
From Pompeii, at Piazza Anfiteatro or the Pompei Villa dei Misteri train station, you can take the Eav bus to Vesuvius. Alternatively, you can always call a taxi.

Pompeii is connected to Sorrento by train via the Eav Circumvesuviana line. You can take the Vesuvius Naples-Sorrento line, which is cheaper and makes stops in all the towns in the Vesuvius area, or the Campania Express, which is more expensive but faster because it makes fewer stops.
