Restaurants by the sea
€€
If you like to eat a step away from the sea, you will find many small restaurants at the Marina Grande Beach in Positano and some places on the promenade of Amalfi’s harbour.
Restaurants in the centre of Positano and Amalfi
€€
The historic centres of Positano and Amalfi also offer many traditional local restaurants that you can find in the alleys and characteristic streets of the two towns. In addition to the ever-present fresh fish, which we recommend trying in all locations in the Gulf of Naples, don’t forget to try the famous limoncello from the Amalfi Coast, ndunderi (considered by UNESCO to be one of the oldest types of pasta in the world), pasterelle amalfitane (biscuits filled with lemon cream), vermicelli di Positano (a pasta dish with vegetables), and olives and anchovies from the coast.
